Our Inclusion Pre-K programs are part of a unique partnership with Austin Independent School District (AISD). Typically-developing children, enrolled through Circle C Child Development Center, and children with special needs, enrolled through AISD, share a pre-kindergarten classroom on the Clayton and Kiker Elementary School campuses. This program is team-taught with degreed teachers from both the Child Development Center and AISD, and enjoys resources from both campuses.
Inclusion pre-kindergarten classes are open from 7:20 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. An extended hour or the after-school program can be added to lengthen the day. This program follows the AISD calendar. All-day care is available for most in-service days, some holidays, and spring break. Summer options are also available.
Children must be 4-years-old by Sept. 1 in order to enroll for the school year. The Inclusion Pre-K is an acceptance-based program. For more information about the application process, please contact our office.
